Rates and how quotes are built
Figures below are informational in ZAR excluding VAT. Every engagement is confirmed in writing after a scope call; complexity of reproduction drives the final number more than line count alone.

Deposit and invoicing
Profiling engagements require a 40% deposit to reserve dates. Balance due on delivery of the hotspot memo unless otherwise agreed. We invoice via PDF; EFT within 14 days for corporate clients with purchase orders.
What increases an estimate
- Profiling only permitted in production with change-board lead times
- Multiple unrelated services in one repo without clear ownership
- Need to build synthetic traffic from scratch
- Air-gapped environments requiring on-site hardware
What we do not charge for
Initial 30-minute scope calls and NDAs. If we determine the issue is outside Python (for example pure network latency), we tell you before billing begins.
